Colfosco is settled on the boundary of the natural park Puez- Odle, at a high of 1.645 m a.s.l. and is consequently the highest touristic locality in Alta Badia. At the feet of the imposing Sassongher mountain, surrounded by a unique natural landscape, Colfosco is a small, peaceful oasis to relax and a place for fun an adventure. The unique position, directly next to the Sella massif, appeals in winter skiers and freeriders and in summer bikers, hikers and climbers from the whole world.

mountain bike towards the valley. The natural park Puez- Odle, UNESCO World Heritage from 2009, so as many other panoramic viewpoints, is reachable on foot in a few hours. For passionate climbers, the Pisciadu and the Mezzodi of the Sella group are ideal. For those who do not want to tread along such a long way to climb a bit, they can go wild in the Adventure Parks. Five different obstacle courses, bridges and sails in the middle of the wood guarantee happy hours of freedom with family and friends.

winter, children and adults can enjoy while skiing the sunny Col Pradat that stretches along the north side of the small village. Beyond that, Colfosco is the ideal starting point for exciting
ski tours and for the well-known tour around the Sella massif, the Sellaronda. Hikers can walk into the silent landscape covered with snow to relax and to forget everyday stress, to taste afterwards Italian and Tyrolean specialities in one of the numerous
mountain huts. The skiing area Alta Badia offers from December to April the best skiing conditions.
The central point of the village is the gothic church that with its peculiar bell tower is part of the most beloved photographic subjects. The climate is pleasant, with an average of 300 sunny days a year, the combination between man and nature, the uniqueness and the awesome village position, with its 531 inhabitants, make this place a beloved touristic destination in Badia Valley, in winter as in summer.
