Sledding in Alta Badia
For sport lovers in every age but most of all for children, happiness and good mood are always at first place while sledding
For a perfect winter holiday, going sledding is an essential ingredient, being going sledding a relaxing, but at the same time adventurous activity. This discipline is ready to learn and it gives the chance to enjoy the fresh Dolomites air at its best.
Adequate mountain shoes are ideal to go sledding; they keep warm and are perfect to brake. Also ski goggles are part of the basis equipment, for they protect your eyes from snow and cold.
In San Cassiano, from the downstream station Piz Sorega until the village centre, there is a 3,5 km long sleight trail. Beyond this, you will find a 2 km long slope a bit outside Corvara, in the middle of the fantastic Pralongià fields, next to the Cherz plateau and a 10 km long slope that starts from Santa Croce and goes through the Armentara grasslands until reaching the traditional and cultural La Val.
Sleights can be rent in the many rentals settled in the villages or in the lift downstream stations already in the morning.
